Overview
Caledonian Golf Club is an 18-hole, par 72 links-style course in the Sanbu district of Chiba, roughly 30 minutes from Narita Airport. Designed in 1990 by J. Michael Poellot, the course is known for its rolling terrain, fast bentgrass greens, and white sandy shoreline-style bunkering.
The course hosted the Japan Professional Championship in 2000 and has continued to attract top-level competition since, including International Series Japan, a LIV Golf–backed event on the Asian Tour, beginning in 2025. Caledonian is a private club with limited public access, and a jacket is required in the clubhouse.
