Overview

Often called "the Pebble Beach of Japan," the Fuji Course at Kawana Hotel is a clifftop 18-hole, par 72 layout designed in 1936 by Charles Hugh (C.H.) Alison. Set on a dramatic promontory above the Pacific, the course offers sweeping ocean views and, on clear days, sight of Mount Fuji from its back nine.

The Fuji Course is regularly ranked among the world's top 100 courses and is considered by many to be Japan's finest. It hosts the Fuji-Sankei Ladies Classic each April and has a long tournament history dating back to the 1930s. Traditionally played on foot with a caddie, the course is available exclusively to guests staying at the Kawana Hotel.
