Narita, Chiba

Taiei Country Club

A Japanese garden-inspired course, about an hour from central Tokyo.

Overview

Taiei Country Club is an 18-hole, par 72 course in Narita, Chiba, roughly 60 minutes from central Tokyo. Opened in 1989, the course is landscaped around a Japanese garden motif, with water features and mature planting worked into a walkable, welcoming layout.

Taiei has hosted the Hitachi 3Tours Championship from 2021 to 2023, and was a longtime host of the Mizuno Senior Classic Golf Tournament in the early 1990s. Its signature hole is the par-3 16th, a short hole played across a waterfall to a green guarded by three interlocking mounds.
